On December 14th 1988, Greg and Gina Hudgens welcomed to the world their first child, a beautiful little girl named Vanessa Anne Hudgens. Vanessa started following her passion for acting since her childhood, her career in musical theatre began at the age of eight, performing in productions of Evita, Carousel, The Wizard of Oz, The King & I, The Music Man, Cinderella and Damn Yankees. She made her feature film debut in “Thirteen” and “Thunderbirds”. Later on Vanessa auditioned for “High School Musical” an original Disney’s movie and got the leading part as Gabriella Montez, little did she know back then was that the movie would become a worldwide phenomenon and the beginning of a trilogy.As soon as the Disney’s original movie came out Vanessa started working on her music career as well and relase her fist album “V” in 2006 followed two years later by “Identified. After “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” Vanessa said goodbye to her beloved character Gabriella Montez and started challenging herself with different roles. She started working from a movie to another one, Beatly, Sucker Punch, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Spring Breakers, Gimme Shelter and The Frozen Ground just to name a few. She also did several commercials. In 2015 Vanessa saw one of her big dream come true, she started as Gigi in “Gigi” and with that she did her broadway debut, since then she saw her passion for live musicals theatre grow up again untill the point that she worked on a different live musical almost each year. In 2016 she surprised the everyone with her talented performance as Rizzo in “Grease live“. In 2017 she took part to “So you think you can dance” as a judge, she performed at Kennedy Center as Vanessa in “In the Heights” while in 2019 she was Maureen in “RENT live“. Vanessa kept on working on her career in movies as well and between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 evryone could see her in Dog Days, The Princess Swithc, Second Act and Polar. In the last two years Vanessa did two music collaboration “Reminding me” and “Lay with me”. Vanessa just finished filming “Bad Boys” and now off to film a movie with Netflix titled “The Knight before Christmas“.
