Double premiere: Sylvie Meis (41) moderated on Monday evening, the first Facebook Christmas concert in the Hamburg Laeiszhalle. Following the motto “More together”, different musicians from Facebook groups have come together and put on a concert in only two days rehearsal. They were supported in this by numerous music stars such as Poptitan Dieter Bohlen (65) or singer Wincent Weiss (26).
“It’s great to be able to host this event today, it’s great what a fantastic and traditional stage Facebook offers to the groups,” she enthuses in an interview. Whether hidden in her undreamt of musical talents? “I love music, it is incredibly important to me in my everyday life, but even contributing to music artistically? I do not think anyone would like to hear that, I honestly miss the talent,” laughs the Dutchwoman.
From Miami to cold Germany
The 41-year-old just returned from Miami. In the social media, she diligently shared bikini snapshots from the beach. Christmas spirit really does not want to come up with her yet. “I have not had a chance to decorate our apartment yet, but I’ll do it this week and then the Christmas spirit will finally come in. At the latest, when I’m running through downtown Hamburg to get all the presents.”
The presenter and designer is an avowed Christmas fan. “I always use this time to reflect on the whole year, to be grateful for everything I have experienced, my family and my friends, especially in these weeks, it is a pleasure to take time to meet loved ones again and talk about everything, as well expectantly and joyfully to see the next year. ”
The wedding bells ring next year
Christmas Eve she spends with her parents in Belgium. “We will cook together, listen to music, laugh and enjoy the time.” Her fiance Niclas Castello (41) will be there, of course. The two met in June at the wedding of Barbara Meier (33) in Venice know. A few months later, the couple made his engagement public.
How and when the two want to marry Meis still wants to keep to himself. “So much has already been written and speculated about it, and next year will tell,” laughs the mother of a son. But what she can reveal: The wedding will take place neither in the US nor in the Netherlands or Germany.
For Meis it is already the second marriage. The presenter was previously married to the Dutch footballer Rafael van der Vaart (36). In 2013, the separation followed, the two have the common son Damien (13).
